Cash application straight from the

horse's mouth

Lunos cash application is the AI agent that auto-matches the payments that are clear, asks your customer about the ones that aren't and syncs clean journal entries straight to your ERP. The matching gets done. The books stay clean. Your team stops playing detective.

Your AR aging report should reflect reality, not your last round of matching.

Auto-matches clear payments using the payer's history, payment promises, Lunos-initiated actions and bank and payments data

When it's unsure, Lunos asks the payer directly - delivered with a delightful thank-you for paying, not a cold email

Syncs clean journal entries back to NetSuite, Xero, QuickBooks and any many more ERPs

How it works

Lunos cash application asks instead of guesses. Three moves, in order.

1. Auto-match what's clear

When Lunos initiated the payment, the match is already known. When a payer sent money to their unique VBAN, it's attributed to them automatically. When remittance advice lands in the inbox, Lunos parses it and lines it up. Clear signals get matched without a human in the loop.

2. Ask the payer when it isn't

Partial payment. Combined payment. Amount close but not exact. Instead of guessing and hoping, Lunos asks the payer which invoices they meant to pay. The ask is tucked into a thank-you for paying, not a cold email. Your customer knows which invoices they paid. It takes them ten seconds to tell us.

3. Sync clean journal entries to your ERP.

Once a match is confirmed, Lunos writes the journal entry back to your ERP in the format your accounting team expects. Cash debited, AR credited, partials and fees handled. Your aging report reflects what actually happened, not what someone had time to key in.

Solving your Cash App pains

Pain
How Lunos solves it

Reconciliation is a manual grind that scales with every customer you add.

Every payment that lands needs to be matched to an invoice. When the remittance is clear and the amount is exact, it's simple. Maybe 60% of the time. The other 40% is partial payments, combined payments, missing references and amounts that are close but not quite right. Your team handles all of it by hand, every week, forever. That's a finance headcount line that grows with your customer count.

Your month-end close is held hostage
by the unmatched pile.

Until every payment is reconciled, the books aren't clean. Until the books are clean, you can't close. Until you close, nobody trusts the AR aging report. The bottleneck isn't your accounting team's skill. It's the pile of ambiguous payments sitting in a spreadsheet, slowing down every downstream report the company runs.

Legacy cash app tools guess. When they guess wrong, trust collapses and the tool gets turned off.

ML-based cash app tools assign payments to invoices based on patterns. Fine when the remittance is clear. Disastrous when it isn't. A payment gets applied to the wrong invoice, nobody catches it, and two months later your team is chasing a customer for money they already paid. One wrong match and the AR team stops trusting the tool. Once they stop trusting it, they check every match by hand, and you're paying for software to do work you're still doing yourself. Guessing tools get turned off. Asking tools get used.
"You know, I thought about this whole thing. It's like my brain but in AI format. I don't have to rely on people."

“For us as an early stage company... we're very resource constrained. So just knowing that this is effectively a plug and play process that we can build, trust and control and execute consistently... adds real value and helps us get better outcomes in terms of what it's meant to do in terms of collecting cash, but also in terms of how the team operates and where they're spending time.”
